General Civil
and Domestic Matters
Our attorneys have considerable experience in general civil cases in which corporate officers, employees, and other individuals are parties to disputes as citizens, as well as family affairs cases involving divorces and other family matters and inheritances, such as the division of property.
General civil and domestic affairs cases require legal knowledge in a wide range of fields, and it is important to be familiar with the recent extensive changes in the law, such as amendments to the Civil Code governing the Law of Contracts and the Law of Inheritance.
In order to resolve general civil and domestic affairs cases in a better way, we believe that it is necessary to not only examine the legal aspects of the case, but also to accurately grasp the entire picture of the case, including background circumstances, and to respond with the whole personality of the attorney in charge, while being close to the feelings of the client, rather than just taking a by-the-books approach. All of our attorneys strive for the best possible solution of the case, always keeping in mind the viewpoint of a citizen himself/herself.
In addition, some domestic affairs cases, in particular, require tax considerations, and we will make every effort to obtain the best possible solution in cooperation with tax accountants with whom we have a cooperative relationship.
